Emilia's Corona Diary
The "Emelia's Corona Diary" project began in the early Corona days, March 2020."Emelia Gottman"
(a human-sized sponge puppet) is a 86 years old woman, young in spirit, full of humor, optimism
and creative. Ever since the early Corona day’s she “documented” her experiences and uploaded
(Facebook and Instagram) 130 posts - most of them include a series of photos, videos accompanied
by short text. The posts were influenced by her daily life experiences during the lockdowns, the
daily news ,the holidays she has celebrated alone, the zoom meetings she has participated,
the frustration, the loneliness, the longing for her grandchildren's, the restrictions relief, and
also the enjoyment of small moments in life …..
